Section Objectives
Terminology and Organization For Medical Assistants, this section focuses on medical terms, anatomical structures, disease development, and pharmacological concepts.
Patient Care and Evaluation Related to Medical Assistants, this section discusses assisting with examining patients, measuring vitals, obtaining samples, delivering medications and injections, applying dressings, aiding with minor methods, and recognizing emergency scenarios.
Medical Terminology In this section, the focus is on how to identify, define, and correctly spell terminology relating to the health care field Identify, define, and correctly spell terminology relating to patient care Identify keyword parts Define terminology as it relates to the health care field. 
Laboratory Duties In this section, the concentration is on Medical Assistants; this section discusses specimen collection and processing, urinalysis, hematology and blood chemistry, microbiology, immunology and laboratory safety.
Conditions and Treatment For Medical Assistants, this section examines frequent disease developments, signs and symptoms as well as conventional treatment and pharmacology. It also involves significant steps of disease avoidance through screening and lifestyle modifications.
Medical Terminology This section covers how to identify, define, and correctly spell terminology relating to the health care field; identify, define, and correctly spell terminology relating to patient care, identify key word parts, and define terminology as it relates to the health care field.
Law & Ethics This section covers how to identify, define, and correctly spell terms relating to medical law.  Recall correct procedures for releasing private health information and identify the laws and regulations for HIPAA.
Pharmacology This section covers how to identify, define, or recall drug classes; identify, define, or recall various drug forms; recognize drug adverse reactions, and calculate drug doses based on patient specifications.
Insurance This section is about demonstrating the knowledge of characteristics of governmental and private health care plans such as the Blue Cross/Blue Shield,  Workers’ Compensation, Medicare/Medicaid, and TRICARE.
