In q1 the option D also makes sense since aligning with other departments is crucial for a cohesive policy. But C seems out of place. Saving audit documentation in a non-permanent format could lead to losing crucial compliance evidence.

Good point, but remember, the focus of the question is on what should be part of the policy, not just best practices. Audit documentation in a non-permanent format could technically be okay if the organization has a specific reason for it and other controls in place. But in the context of long-term retention, C stands out as the exception because you wouldn’t want important audit trails to be potentially lost.

Totally. The correct answer has to be C. Data retention policies should ensure that critical documentation, like audit controls, is stored securely, not in a non-permanent format.

Right! C is the odd one out. If audit documentation isn't permanent, it could create gaps in compliance or make it difficult to verify actions later on. For an organization, that’s a huge risk.
